Mosvold Hotels luxury Beach Villas

This resort was very professionally run but... read more with all the comfort and warmth. We were particularly impressed with the reception accorded to us by Dilruksha.

Resort has a quiet and clean beach. Swimming pool was well maintained.

We all were wined and dined well by Hassan and Issac who were always cheerful.

Will return to this place and resort soon with more family and friends.

This hotel only has a small number of rooms which helps... read more it create the perfect combination of a relaxed, intimate vibe with easy access to everything you could want - a perfect beach, surfing, bars and restaurants.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable. You will sleep well here. You may get some noise from the road but it is minor and certainly didn't disturb my sleep or the chilled vibe. You will hear the waves of the ocean more than anything else. Being able to walk straight onto the beach from the hotel is a real positive.

What really sets Mosvold Villa apart is the hospitality of its staff who are all diligent and friendly. It makes the place feel like a home. Mr Dinesh works tirelessly to enhance the experience of all the guests. He made sure I had everything I needed and he was readily on hand to help arrange bookings, surfing lessons, transport and offer advice on places to visit and things to do.

Mr Dinshan served me during meal times and he was exceptional. He was polite and he was diligent in his service with a very keen eye for detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble and his focus was always on making guests feel at home and relaxed. He was always on hand to offer advice on which Sri Lankan dishes to try and he even arranged with the chef to make a special Sri Lankan meal on my last night which was delicious!

From the first contact with Mr Dinesh until... read more the moment of departure, everything went perfectly. The hotel is small and very intimate, it's like being at home. The rooms are very spacious, refined, clean and with all the amenities, with an incredible view over the beach. For our stay we have chosen half board and I can say that the Chef has always prepared the best food you will taste in Sri Lanka. For those who are surfers like us and want to enjoy the best spots, there is no better place. We appreciate all the care and attention given by Mr Dinesh, Shafraz and the entire team.   A beautifully restored villa with a large lawn ending in a beautiful, clean beach. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Excellent service from Hassan, Nipun and the rest of... read more the staff who were kind, attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the fresh seafood and unlimited cocktails in the evening. What was special was the excursion arranged by the hotel including a boat trip, a visit to a cinnamon plantation and a picnic on an island on the Madu river. Everything was beautifully arranged with attention to detail.
