Mosvold Hotels luxury Beach Villas

The deluxe... read more room was spacious, beautifully decorated, stunning bathroom and the most effective aircon we have ever experienced! The 4 poster bed was so comfortable we found it hard to get up! Really appreciated the eco friendly touches of no single use plastic, glass water bottles, big bottle bathroom toiletries, things wrapped in paper not plastic, metal straws etc - thank you guys for making the steps to reduce plastic waste! The whole hotel was spotlessly clean including the gorgeous pool that was great to swim lengths in. The seaviews are to die for and you can walk to a clean, safe sandy beach that is suitable for beginners surf. The food was out of this world and really varied, in some ways we didn't want to ever check out but thought we better before they would have to roll us through the door! The chef even made us a special dinner one evening of a banana leaf baked fish which was very much appreciated by us. Each and every member of staff was courteous and made us feel right at home. The service was astounding and the food was delicious (especially all the seafood and local cuisines). The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere - one of the best aspects is how you can walk straight onto the beach to catch some spectacular sunsets. If you need a place to completely unwind and feel rejuvenated again, this is the hotel to stay at!

We went surfing everytime the waves were fine. The beach is directly in front of the Hotel. My two surf Instructors were extremely professional and became really good friends. The explanations were always very clear and in a good understanding way. When we couldn‘t train in the sea because of the waves we had a poolsession. There was always good fun.
The Hotel is very pretty. It is a small Boutique Hotel with only a few rooms. The rooms were very nice and clean. Everybody was very friendly and polite.
I can highly recomend the Kima Surfcamp in Ahnagama in Mosvold Villa for everyone. I would go back immediately if I could.

This hotel only has a small number of rooms which helps... read more it create the perfect combination of a relaxed, intimate vibe with easy access to everything you could want - a perfect beach, surfing, bars and restaurants.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable. You will sleep well here. You may get some noise from the road but it is minor and certainly didn't disturb my sleep or the chilled vibe. You will hear the waves of the ocean more than anything else. Being able to walk straight onto the beach from the hotel is a real positive.

What really sets Mosvold Villa apart is the hospitality of its staff who are all diligent and friendly. It makes the place feel like a home. Mr Dinesh works tirelessly to enhance the experience of all the guests. He made sure I had everything I needed and he was readily on hand to help arrange bookings, surfing lessons, transport and offer advice on places to visit and things to do.

Mr Dinshan served me during meal times and he was exceptional. He was polite and he was diligent in his service with a very keen eye for detail. Nothing was ever too much trouble and his focus was always on making guests feel at home and relaxed. He was always on hand to offer advice on which Sri Lankan dishes to try and he even arranged with the chef to make a special Sri Lankan meal on my last night which was delicious!
