What was special was the excursion arranged by the hotel including a boat trip, a visit to a cinnamon plantation and a picnic on an island on the Madu river. Everything was beautifully arranged with attention to detail.

The deluxe... read more room was spacious, beautifully decorated, stunning bathroom and the most effective aircon we have ever experienced! The 4 poster bed was so comfortable we found it hard to get up! Really appreciated the eco friendly touches of no single use plastic, glass water bottles, big bottle bathroom toiletries, things wrapped in paper not plastic, metal straws etc - thank you guys for making the steps to reduce plastic waste! The whole hotel was spotlessly clean including the gorgeous pool that was great to swim lengths in. The seaviews are to die for and you can walk to a clean, safe sandy beach that is suitable for beginners surf. The food was out of this world and really varied, in some ways we didn't want to ever check out but thought we better before they would have to roll us through the door! The chef even made us a special dinner one evening of a banana leaf baked fish which was very much appreciated by us. Each and every member of staff was courteous and made us feel right at home. They took us on a river... read more safari that was really epic. We were given a tour of a cinnamon plantation and foot massage by little colorful fish! Especially like to mention that Hassan service was exceptional.
